Dr. Stephanie Muguira
Post-Doctoral Resident
Dr. Stephanie Muguira is a post-doctoral resident at Dr. David Yudell and Associates. She earned her Masters’s (M.S.) and Doctorate (Psy.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. She provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Dr. Muguira is committed to creating a safe space in which her clients feel comfortable to truly be themselves and embark on their unique therapeutic journey. She doesn’t believe in a “one-size fits all” approach to treatment, but rather tailoring treatment to best accommodate her client’s needs. Her goal is to empower each of her clients with the confidence and tools to achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
Dr. Muguira believes the most important part of this journey is creating a strong therapeutic relationship in a collaborative environment. She utilizes a variety of approaches to therapy, including interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, family systems therapy, and play therapy.
She has extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment issues, relationship issues, reunification therapy, parenting issues, and more. Dr. Muguira wants to remind each individual reading this, that it is okay to ask for help. It is not a sign of weakness to seek therapy, rather a sign of strength.
