Dr. Sara Ferguson

Dr. Sara Ferguson is a Licensed Psychologist at Dr. David Yudell and Associates. She earned her bachelor’s degree (B.S.) at Florida State University and her master’s (M.S.) and doctoral (Psy.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Forensic Psychology at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Ferguson emphasizes the importance of treatment from a holistic perspective and believes that life’s challenges should not be faced alone. She provides psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Ferguson utilizes an integrative, collaborative, and strengths-based approach, with a primary emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. She has specialty training in the areas of mood and anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental and intellectual disabilities, post-traumatic stress, and relationship issues.
Dr. Ferguson has extensive experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. She spent seven years working as a clinician at the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism (UM-NSU CARD), providing educational, clinical, and behavioral consultation to individuals, families, and related professionals.
