Dr Kat Stubblefield
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Katherine Stubblefield is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with toddlers, children, teens, young adults, and their families. Dr. Kat has trained specifically in working with children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and other related neurodevelopmental disorders. Furthermore, Dr. Kat creates a safe space for gender/sexual minority youth to learn more about who they are as they embark on their journey of self-discovery and identity formation.
Dr. Kat obtained her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. The majority of her pre and post-doctoral training was spent learning how to conduct quality and comprehensive psychoeducational, developmental, and diagnostic evaluations of individuals across the lifespan; this includes toddlers as young as 2 years old up to college-age youth. With every assessment, Dr. Kat ensures that clients walk away with a better understanding of their strengths and areas of growth, along with recommendations necessary to achieve success.
Therapeutically, children, youth, teens, and young adults can expect to learn a variety of techniques to help them overcome their difficulties and live more confidently in themselves and in their abilities. Dr. Kat also provides parent training to help families better understand and strengthen their relationship with their child. Dr. Kat utilizes a truly bio-psycho-social approach to treatment and assessments as she understands the value and importance of the mind-body connection.
